Palm Beach's Most Cherished Thanksgiving Tradition
Thanksgiving morning comes alive in Palm Beach with the annual Turkey Trot!

The morning begins with the Kids' Drumstick Dash at 7:00 AM, when more than 100 little runners, from toddlers through age 6, dash together across the Great Lawn. It's an adorable and energetic start to a Thanksgiving morning filled with fun, family, and community spirit.

Then comes the Turkey Trot 5K at 7:30 AM, when runners and walkers take to the scenic, chip-timed course, winding along the North County Road tree canopy and the beautiful Lake Trail by the Intracoastal Waterway. Each year, more than 1,600 runners, walkers, and families come together to enjoy the race, cheer one another on, and celebrate this special Palm Beach Thanksgiving tradition.

And every trot makes a difference, bringing people together for a good cause and helping the Town of Palm Beach United Way provide holiday meals to individuals and families in need throughout Palm Beach County.

Packet Pickup
We're back at Pumphouse Pouratorium for Turkey Trot packet pickup! Conveniently located in West Palm Beach's Warehouse District, it's an easy stop before Thanksgiving, whether you're coming from Palm Beach, downtown West Palm Beach, or off I-95. Grab your race packet, stay for coffee and a bite to eat, and get ready to trot!

Race Awards
Everyone who crosses the finish line receives a Turkey Trot finisher medal!
The Overall Female 5K Finisher and Overall Male 5K Finisher will each receive a special trophy in recognition of finishing first overall. Trophies will also be awarded to the 1st- and 2nd-place male and female finishers in each of the following age groups:
9 & Under
10–13
14–17
18–21
22–29
30–39
40–49
50–59
60–69
70+

 

 

Feeding Families in Need
Through the generosity of sponsors and participants, the Turkey Trot helps bring the spirit of Thanksgiving to families across Palm Beach County. For many, a holiday meal represents far more than food on the table. It offers comfort, dignity, and the powerful reminder that their community cares.

Last year's race provided 7,756 meals to help feed families across Palm Beach County.
