This is our third year that we are participating in this very important event.  The captive animal crisis continues as humans continue to thoughtlessly think they are capable of owning an exotic animal and/or organizations that fail to care for these animals that are dependent on humans and are often abused and neglected.  

 The Wild Animal Sanctuary in Keenesburg, CO is home to over 450 rescued animals- mostly large carnivores such as Lions, Tigers, Wolves and Bears. They came from places like circuses, roadside attractions, backyards and the entertainment industry, but now they have a permanent home where they can roam in large-acreage habitats and live the rest of their lives in peace on the grasslands of Colorado. Did you know that it costs approximately $8,000 to care for one large carnivore for a year? Please help me support this incredible organization and provide care for these amazing animals!
